This temporary life will suck you in if you let it. We live in such a fast-paced society, busy busy busy. When summer comes; picnics, parties. Don’t get your schedule so full that you don’t have time for the things of God. The Bible says that none of us are promised tomorrow, our life is like a vapor or a blade of grass springing up and gone overnight. 2 Timothy says that in the last days people will be lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. Don’t allow this to happen in your life; keep God #1 priority, you go to church and your family and friends should know that you’re not going to miss church for a party. When church is over you’ll be there. Set some standards in your life and people will take notice. If you put God number one he will put you number one. Keep an eternal focus!
