2 things your tithe does for you: 1. Opens window 2. Rebukes devourer

God said in Malachi 3, “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.
“And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes….

You need to commit to tithing if you want God’s blessing, if you don’t tithe you are under a curse. God says to test Him in this and see if He won’t open up the windows of Heaven and pour out a blessing that you can’t contain. In other words, it will be a continual blessing, never-ending blessing as long as you are tithing! If you stop tithing you tie God’s hands. God will not go against His Word, He said in Jeremiah He watches over His Word to perform it.

He also said He will rebuke the devourer for us. John 10:10 says the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. The devourer is the one stealing from you but when you are a tither God is the One who rebukes the devourer for you. So if you wants God’s protection over your things you must tithe.

The tithe does not increase you. The problem is, people use their tithe as their offering. God cannot multiply the tithe. God is “expecting” the tithe, the “offering” is what increases. If you don’t give offerings (anything over and above the tithe), you won’t increase. Tithe literally means tenth.

Some people rob God of the tithe and then come to church and ask God to bless them. It doesn’t work that way. Deuteronomy 28 speaks of blessings when we “obey”. If we don’t operate in God’s principles we bring a curse on ourselves.

Commit today to start bringing the whole tithe into the storehouse, that is the place you are being fed the Word of God and watch what God does when you Honor His Word!
