A person that you would call “sensitive” or “I have to walk on egg shells around them” is really just a person that is easily offended. Some preachers don’t preach on certain subjects in the Bible because they are afraid they will offend the parishioners, especially Mr. & MRS. big bucks.
The Bible says in Psalm 119:165 “great peace have they which love thy law and nothing shall offend them”, so if you love God’s law, you will have great peace and nothing will offend you! For instance, if you get upset when the Preacher talks about “giving”, then you have a problem in that area. I Love when my Pastor brings giving messages because I’m a giver and I want to learn even more about the blessings that come from it and how God loves a cheerful giver!
A person that is offended is often a controlling person, because offense tries to control the person that gave the offense. Examine your heart and see if you are this person and then let the Holy Spirit change you. Preacher, don’t look at their faces, it’s not your message, it’s His, so preach it!
