Faith pleases God, without faith it’s impossible to please Him. Our whole spiritual relationship with God is based on faith. Everything you believe Him for, and all the promises in His Word are received by Faith. But you can’t have Abraham’s blessing with Thomas’ faith!
How do we get faith? By hearing the Word of God. That’s why there’s such a lack of faith in most Christians today because if they don’t get in the Word themselves and if their Preacher just reads one verse a week they’ll never develop faith! So a lack of teaching is what causes a lack of faith. Even if your preacher reads whole chapters, you still must get in the Word daily and read it yourself and build up your faith, develop faith!
