Romans 10:13 Everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved!
The Bible says, “Everyone who calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.” I know some people, sad to say, that don’t believe someone can just “say a prayer” and be saved. I often think about the thief on the cross beside Jesus, the Bible says that he said, “Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom” and Jesus said, “Today you will be with me in Paradise!” He simply called on the Name of Jesus.
These are the same people that don’t go out into the streets or door to door with a sense of urgency to lead anyone to Christ, so I think they say these things to appease their guilty conscience. Well, they will have to answer for it one day. Jesus came to SEEK and to save the lost, that means He went “looking” for them. I also noticed it was always the “religious” people who were jealous of Jesus and always looking for a way to run Him out of town. Christian, it’s time to get into the Bible yourself, make sure what people tell you lines up with the Bible!
Just go be a fisher of men, You catch them and let God clean them!
