How do you enter into God’s presence? To enter into his gates, you must thank Him. “Enter his gates with thanksgiving in your heart.” To enter into his courts, you must praise Him. “enter his courts with praise.” And then say, “this is the day that the Lord has made, I WILL rejoice and be glad in it!”
You can’t enter into his presence murmuring and complaining, whining and crying. He loves you, he wants a relationship with you, but how miserable of a relationship would that be if all you do is come to him complaining and whining about everything. And then you do all this and then get up and go about your day?
And the Bible says that God inhabits the Praises of His people! So Praise Him, tell Him how wonderful He is and how thankful you are for His mercy and His grace! If you want His presence, Praise Him. Praise brings Presence!
