In Romans 11:9 the Apostle Paul tells us to “hate what is evil”. What is “evil” you ask? The definition of evil is anything morally wrong or bad.
We don’t hate the evil people, we hate the evil. We as Christians should hate what is evil, not be partakers of it. The Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:22 to “stay away from all appearance of evil”.
Can people tell that You are a Christian or do you just kinda blend in with the world? The whole chapter of Romans 12 talks about giving your life to Christ & how we should behave as a Christian. So alot of the wrong we do is just “common sense” that it is wrong but the Holy Spirit will gently convict us of the evil in our lives that maybe we weren’t aware of & we need to take heed to this & remove it.
Paul says to hate what is evil & cling to what is good. The last verse of that chapter says ” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Repent means to turn around or away from something, go the other way! Be blessed!
