Psalm 23 tells us how God is a good Shepherd to us. When we allow Him to lead us we have peace. When we choose to sin (which it is a choice that YOU make) you are choosing to go your own way and you can’t blame God or anyone else for the problems that arise from that sin. You will only have peace and contentment when you allow God to lead you; and that, of course, comes from a relationship with him. God has a plan and a purpose for your life; it’s not too late to allow Him to lead you back on the right path.
