God is patient, not willing that any should perish but all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
There was a woman watching TV one day, just flicking through the channels, probably eating cheetos. She wasn’t saved. She came upon a preacher and stayed on that channel to watch. She said suddenly Jesus walked out of the TV and stood in front of her. When she looked in His eyes, she said there was so much love pouring out of Him into her. He held out his hand but she said she didn’t take it so He put it back to His side. He just stood there with that love in His eyes. Again, He held out His hand to her but she didn’t take it so He put it back to His side and just stood there with that love in His eyes. She said the third time He held out His hand and this time she reached out and took it. When she did that, He turned around and came inside her!
God loves people. He is no respector of persons. He created every human being on this planet and Jeremiah said He has plans to prosper us not to harm us, plans for hope and a future. But He has also given us a free will, we choose what we want in this life. He said in Deuteronomy 30:15 “Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster.” He gives Everyone a chance to give their life to Him.
That story I just told is a true story. And today Jesus is standing in front of you holding out His hand saying “Come unto Me all you that are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 And in
Hebrews 3 it says, “But now is the time. Never forget the warning, “Today if you hear God’s voice speaking to you, do not harden your hearts against him, as the people of Israel did when they rebelled against him in the desert.”
Jesus may never appear to you in person like He did with that woman but He WILL come to you in some way and you will know that it is Him and He gives you a chance to give your life to Him. God loves You and He has a plan for Your life so surrender to Him, give your life to Him.
The Bible says that we’ve all sinned and come short of the glory of God and the wages of sin is death but the Gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. And whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved!
I always think of the thieves that were on the crosses beside Jesus when He was being crucified. One was making fun of Jesus but the other one said, “Lord, remember me when you come into Your Kingdom!” Jesus told him, “Today you will be with Me in Paradise!”
Don’t wait until tomorrow, it may be too late. Call upon the Name of Jesus right now, He’s standing with His arms outstretched to You!
